Prof Han-Xiang AnProfessor, Master supervisor

Prof Han-Xiang An is a master supervisor, chief physician, a high-level overseas talent of the Ministry of Education, "Double Hundred Talents" and top-notch talents of Xiamen. He graduated from the University of Dusseldorf in Germany with a doctoral degree and engaged in the research of molecular genetics, tumorigenesis and progression of tumor, DNA repair regulation abnormality and tumor metastasis mechanism. Besides, he was responsible for a number of internationa basic and clinical researches on cancer, including the German Genome Project, clinical trials of tumor molecular targeted drugs, and clinical and basic research on heavy particle therapy. Among them, the genetic survey and treatment research of hereditary breast cancer in Germany is the current standard basis for clinical treatment of the disease in Germany. He hosted or participated in 9 important domestic and foreign projects, including the German Cancer Foundation, the German Ministry of Science and Technology Fund and the National Natural Science Foundation and published many high-level SCI-listed papers.
